The city of Corinth was the Greek capital of the Roman Province of Achaia. It was similar to most of our cities around the world today. It was noted for its thriving commerce, proud culture and immorality. In the church Paul established in Corinth many of the secular issues began creeping into the church. In Letter from Jesus, we find Jesus dealing with the same issues in the Church today. He sees the problems of division and immorality in the church. He addresses sex, marriage, matters of conscience, church order. He looks at how the Holy Spirit affects our lives.
