In “Galatians” I have taken the letter of Paul and put it into the words of Jesus. To do this I have repeatedly asked the questions as I read each verse: What is Jesus telling me through this verse? How would Jesus write this verse in today’s setting?
Day 1
GALATIANS ONE
Galatians 1:1-5 Divine Call
Dear Sister and Brother,
- I want you to know that I was called by My Heavenly Father to be the Saviour of the world. This means that I am your Saviour too. I am delighted that you have chosen to be a member of My Kingdom Church, there- fore partnering with Me in spreading the Gospel mes-sage. The reason for My writing to you now is that I am asking you to help Me in My task. If you accept, under-stand that this is a divine call, with a divine ministry,so do not take it lightly. I am delighted to have you as My ambassador, representing My Kingdom in the territory I will send you to.
- I am also writing to give you a word of warning and a word of encouragement. This letter is accompanied by the entire Heavenly Host. It will also reach out to others who are faithful to the true message of My Gospel.
- So ferocious and violent was the sin that originally had its claim upon you, that I offered Myself as a living sacrifice to eradicate it. This was planned by My Father at the time when Adam and Eve sinned in dis-obedience. This was done so that you could be rescued today from the devil’s kingdom in which you live. This kingdom is filled with ignorance, contempt, hatred and disobedience.
- You can see that for this reason, from the beginning and to the end of time, all glory has gone, goes and will go to My Heavenly Father.
- My Heavenly Father also shares this letter I am writing to you. The grace that We greet you with has the power to remit sin, demonstrating Our great love for you. Along with this We share a peace that quiets your conscience, showering you with brightness and gladness in your heart. May My grace be with your spirit.
With love,
Jesus
